Punjab Education Department decided that the presence of private school students in PEC 8th and 5th class examination in 2015 is not mandatory. The Executive District Education Officer Rawalpindi confirmed this news. In another news it was also confirmed that PEC primary class exam will start from 3rd February 2015 while middle class exam will start from 8th February 2015. The examination will be conducted only for the Science, Maths, English, Urdu and Islamiyat subjects. The registration for PEC 8th and 5th class will be online and will be free of cost. The date of registration for PEC Primary and Middle class exam will be finalized on first week of November.
